If you have children, be sure to check the Elk & Bison out. The kids will enjoy it, I even enjoy it myself. It’s $5 to enter.

Early morning as in sunrise hours or late evening as in sunset hours are best. They bed most generally during the day and chew their cud and sleep. Best times to see especially the Elk

You can drive through this compound and see the elk and bison roaming wild. Children love it... heck! I love it, too! There is a fee to drive through... I can't remember how much.
