Gatineau Park Welcome Area
Either go for a skate on the Rideau Canal, or a hike/ski in the Gatineau Park. However you do it, try to get outside and enjoy the various outdoor activities Ottawa has to offer. *If you need equipment, check out Kunstadt Sports on 680 Bank Street!
Amazing trails for all levels. I would definitely recommend checking out Pink Lake Trail in the summer time. Probably the most beautiful lake you will EVER see!
Gatineau Park is a great place to jog, hike or bike in the summer months. A must see in the fall when the leaves are beaming with color and there are lots of well groomed winter trails for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or hiking. Lots of great places to grab a pint and a bite to eat after that…
great for walking, biking, skiing and just a great sightseeing place for the whole family!
“Interesting culture and history. Great view of the river and the parliament hill. Family with kids would also love to visit the Children's museum inside.”
“The Rideau Centre is a three-level shopping centre on Rideau Street in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It borders on Rideau Street, the ByWard Market, the Rideau Canal, the Mackenzie King Bridge, and Nicholas Street in Downtown Ottawa. Over 20 million people visit the mall annually.”
