It is dedicated to the Greek poet Dionisios Solomos the author of the Greek National anthem. The museum is set in Arseniou street where the poet lived between 1798 and 1857. The museum features personal objects, manuscripts, furniture, photographs and historical material of the author.

Η Εταιρεία Κερκυραϊκών Σπουδών (ΕΚΣ) ιδρύθηκε ως Σωματείο το 1952 με σκοπό την έρευνα της ιστορίας, λαογραφίας και γενικά της πνευματικής και καλλιτεχνικής παραγωγής της Κέρκυρας και κατ’ επέκταση των Ιονίων Νήσων.
