A short drive or bike ride up the Whanganui river to walk across and view the river and surrounds. Great place for a meal, coffee or ice-cream at the Upokongaru cafe.

Grab your bike znd head out of town up to the cycle bridge, grab a bite or a beer at pub or store and head back to town. Mix of country cycleway, city streets and river cycleway. Great wee drive too.

Just 8.5ks from Vintage Hey Day, why not jaunt up this relatively flat cycling track and pop across the river for a coffee, or a meal the choice is yours.
