Canoeing during your vacation is a fun way to pass the time on the river, whether your just a couple, group or family you will enjoy. The canoes are rented out for around the town trips, half day or full day - a waterproof barrel is provided to keep your belongings safe and dry. Pack a picnic. Great fun for all.

Canoe hire at Brantome. For a more leisurely time on the river, there is an excellent guided boat trip you can book in Brantome which will take you up the River Dronne, explaining some of the history of the town and nothing points of interest along the way

Brantome is a 15 minute drive from Lisle, in Brantome there are some lovely restaurants and you can canoe up and down the river which is great fun.
