Point of Interest
Scenic beach with views of Bass Rock & Tantallon Castle, as well as forest walking trails.
If you are here for the beach, take a 5 min drive to this locally known spot. If the weather is good, take a picnic. There's a hamper you can use under the sideboard in the conservatory!
My favourite beach, along a lane, and pay a pound or two to drive in. Quieter than other bigger beaches, with sand, rocks, and views to Tantallon Castle.
“Dirleton castle is a few miles drive away from Dunbar and is well worth visiting. The Archerfield estate (home of the Renaissance golf course which hosted the Scottish open in 2019) is close by and has an excellent restaurant for breakfast or lunch. They brew their own beer there!”
“Highly recommend this beautiful beach and walk. Get there early or go late as limited parking.”
“Family run, award winning Italian Restaurant is located on Gullane Main street. Dining experience in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.”
“Fox lakes adventures is Scotland’s first cable wakeboarding park and the UKs only ropes course over water. Great for families.”
