The monument to where the Old Man once lived, before he crumbled from his rock formation. Check out the excellent monument at the base of Echo Lake, right next to Cannon Mountain.

Site commemorating the rock formation named "The Old Man of the Mountain". He has fallen off the cliff, but Profile Plaza is a nice set up highlighting this legend of New Hampshire.

Visit the history museum and see the virtual old man on the mountain at the viewing area. The original old man of the mountain collapsed on June 3rd, 2003. Watch for birds the notch is home to many species including hawks, owls, herons and much more.
