Did you know NH has the skeleton of a massive volcano. About 10 times the size of Mt St Helen the eruption 200 million years ago shaped the Ossipee Mountains as we know them today. The circular caldera in the conservation area is the best place to check out volcanic rocks and waterfalls. It is breathtaking!
