Traditional London pie & mash (& jellied eels, an old cockney dish, for the brave hearted!) Good beef or vegan pies with liquor (parsley sauce / gravy) nice coffee and apple crumble, to eat in or take away in a 1930s marble cafe.

Local East End food, an acquired taste, one of my favourite foods but I was brought up on this as a kid. Meat pies served with mash and parsley gravy
