Great place for for a walk or picnic. You can also rent a "FLOATmingo" paddle boat.

Have a coffee or drink at The Terrace restaurant while there. Summer evenings you can catch Shakespeare in the Park here as well.

There is a nice trail around the lake for walking/jogging/biking (our dog loves going here). There is also a big playground for kids. In the summertime there are boat rentals and other activities.

Whether you go there to jog, run, watch a shakespeare perforance, wedding in the rose garden, bike, row a canoe, experiences the Olmstead Park System, Hoyt Lake is beautiful and relaxing!
