From the ancient university city, get to Ponte Da Mucela in about 30 mins for 40 EUR with one of the taxi drivers waiting outside Coimbra-B. We suggest this only in emergencies. The closest bus goes to Vila Nova de Poares. For bus details see Rede Expressos.
