Sqirl In LA Is Open For Dinner For the first-time ever, Kellogg’s® teams up with Chef Jessica Koslow from SQIRL to create an unexpected breakfast for dinner menu served at night! Chef Koslow will incorporate Kellogg’s cereals into a specially-curated menu for the experience. “Cereal is such a versatile ingredient that can work for both sweet and savory dishes. Breakfast is the best meal of the day—why not have it all the time?" SQIRL opened in 2011 and has been a brunch hit ever since. It’s been described as “Instagram come to life” and being at the “forefront of a new American breakfast revolution.” “We’re thrilled to partner with SQIRL to help everyone up their creativity by reinventing cereal for dinner,” said Aleta Chase, marketing director at Kellogg’s. Well...It’s working! Join us from Sept. 21-23 at SQIRL (720 N. Virgil Ave. #4, Los Angeles) for food and fun.
There can be long lines, but it's a huge favorite among locals and visitors. Excellent interesting food.
One of my favorite breakfast places, get there early and expect a line (that is totally worth it).
This is a great place for breakfast. The sorrel pesto rice, malva plum cake are amazing. No reservations so there will likely be a wait.
Hit up SQIRL for breakfast, brunch, lunch, whenever. Chef and owner Jessica Koslow was a 2018 James Beard Award Finalist in the Best Chef category and has been dubbed the “leader of New California Cuisine.”
“Great restaurant and bar. Best cocktails in the area and amazing food. Crowd is typically full of interesting writers and other industry creative types. ”
“Good coffee within walking distance. SUPER HIP. Great outdoor hangout spot in the back.”
“Forage serves the sort of food you could eat everyday: perfect rotisserie chicken, buttery quiche and lovely prepared salads like quinoa with white beans and cherry tomatoes. Don’t miss the vibrant green mix of cavolo nero and arugula in the barest of bright lemon-olive oil dressing, finished with salty feta and bread crumbs”
“This is just a fantastic Taiwanese restaurant. They don't take reservations so you might have to stand in line for a bit but it is 100% worth it. It also happens to be very affordable. We recommend the Dan Dan Noodles, the scallion pancakes, the pot stickers and the 5 spice bamboo shoot salad.”
