Great place... beautiful, a bit far from town. Book a picnic. Its a good spot for children. Very spacious. Very classy wine farm, do not let the "good for kids" scare you away.
Beautiful wine farm and gardens to stroll through. We love to eat at their deli or picknicks. Fantastic entertainment area for kids
I love an outing to Boschendal a working historic farm with a delicious deli, wine tasting offering, garden to stroll in, bike trails, spa and picnic area.
“Located of a quiet road at the back of the valley BonBon is a great spot for a relaxing lunch or afternoon tea. Situated on a picturesque estate a short drive out of the village the service is very attentive and the food rustic and wholesome - The Lemon meringue pie is a must have.”
“Italian themed chain restaurant, offering take aways should the evening get all too difficult! ...With artisanal wood-fired pizzas, sumptuous pastas and gourmet salads, it was not long before the Col’Cacchio magic spread far and wide. And now, 25 years later, with restaurants all over the country, the mere mention of Col’Cacchio sends taste buds into a wild. It's more than a menu. It's a celebration.”
“Perfect for lunch...Bread & Wine Vineyard Restaurant exudes an old world charm. It is a character-filled, rustic restaurant that has won numerous accolades for its honest food. Neil Jewell, the Charcuterie Guru, is the inspiration behind the perfectly balanced, seasonally influenced and surroundings inspired, menu. His passion lies in his homemade Charcuterie that he prepares with mountains of patience and bucket loads of love.”
“Love this informal beer brewery. Nice tapa style food with a big drinks menu. Great from 5pm to 10pm. Also on the main road. Good vibe!”
“La Petite Ferme was on the original restaurants that put Franschhoek on the map as the gourmet capital of South Africa. This is a great place, set on the pass road looking back over the valley and village to enjoy a long and relaxing lunch. Recommend to book ahead as it is very popular and well worth the visit .”
