Flash Disc Ranch

A record store with a lot of jazz records in what I consider Tokyo’s Greenwich Village—Shimokitazawa. They have the best deals in the city, hands down. The basic price is about ¥800, and the owner frequently has sales. Any record I’ve ever wanted, I tell the owner and he has always been able to find it. The owner puts his new shipment of records, all sourced from Los Angeles, out for sale every Saturday morning. If you show up here before the store opens up, you can see DJs lining up in anticipation.
