You can haggle with the vendors as prices here are always negotiable. But be ready to squeeze through the crowd as this is a very crowded place specially during the month of December as this is also where many locals shop for their Christmas gifts. Also, you have to be very mindful of your personal belongings at all times, since this is a crowded place, it also attract pickpockets.
