This is my own restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. Proeflokaal A. van Wees is the tasting room for Amsterdams last traditional Distillery 'De Ooievaar'. We serve more than 60 traditional Amsteredam Liqueurs and over 20 Jenevers. Let me know when you want to come by for dinner or lunch and your first drinks are on me. I would recommend to try our French Toast with strawberrry's & banana for lunch and our Dutch Cheese Fondue for dinner.

A van Wees is one of my personal favorite bars in Amsterdam. It's a real traditional bar at the Herengracht. The family van Wees bought the property in 1973. Now, almost 50 years later they still uphold the traditions. The family van Wees also makes their one Genever which is a sort of dutch Gin. It is made in the Jordaan area, only 600 meters from your AirBnb

Old world distillery and now pub - great for beef and Jenever tastings. Food and snacks are also great. My favorite place to grab a beer in the city
