Consistently one of the better pizza restaurants in San Diego. They don't deliver but the pick up is well worth it.

Great deep dish pizza that has a buttery crust and a good mix between New York and Chicago style.
This place is stuck in a time warp from the 1940s. Really cool atmosphere, a bit romantic. Feels like 'the old La Jolla'. Great pizza too!
“My go to surf shop.. Authentic surf brands and quality hardgoods. Great staff and Mitch is an icon in La Jolla...”
“Verdes El Ranchero is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. It has a beach/surf community vibe and authentic and traditional Mexican dishes. They make their tortillas right there in the restaurant. I would recommend their traditional margarita, chorizo tostada . . . Oh just everything on the menu! My favorite waitress there is Cynthia, see always brings me the extra hot, hot sauce, so delicious! :)”

“This beach has the best, whitest sand in all of San Diego. Marine Street's claim to fame is its wicked shorebreak otherwise known as 'womp.' Bodysurfers and bodyboarders get short, deep tube rides as the waves hit the steep shelf and unload onto the shore. ”
