Hollywood Star Cars Museum Car lovers and movie buffs alike will love a trip to the Hollywood Star Cars Museum in Gatlinburg. The museum features over 40 authentic cars from Hollywood’s movies and TV shows. The cars are lovingly maintained and set to recreated settings that include sound, lights, and action. You’ll really feel as if you’ve stepped back into the past or onto a Hollywood movie set. Among the cars you can expect to see are the Drag-U-La from The Munsters (1965), the 1969 Camaro SS from Charlie’s Angels (2000), and the iconic DeLorean from Back to the Future. The museum is also home to Dolly Parton’s very own 1997 Cadillac D’Elegance, and a 1955 Ford Thunderbird that belonged to Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys. And of course, these are just a few of the dozens of cars that museum boasts to be seen. According to the museum’s website, many of the cars were created by George Barris who has arguably created more famous cars that have graced the big screen than anyone else. His most famous being the Batmobile from the 1966 Batman TV show. If you’re looking for something that has a lot of “return value”, then this is the place to go. The cars change out pretty frequently with favorites staying so there’s always something new (and old) to see!
