Believe it or not we do have beaches here in Arizona. This is a fun spot for a picnic and if it's warm for swimming. Bring an inner tube or a kayak and splash around while you take in amazing canyon views. Make sure you stop at a gas station before you hit the Apache Trail for a Tonto National Forest pass to park. "The Dolly" paddleboat is a fun attraction nearby here for a lake tour.
