This is a smaller estate winery that produces fabulous wines of many varieties. Among the best in Niagara Region in my opinion. Their chardonnays (oaked, or sur lees), pinot noir, riesling (dry), pinot grigio are all excellent. At the tasting counter you can purchase ice wine in dark chocolate shooter cups (wow!) and wine slushies. Order a charcuterie/cheese platter, take a seat indoors or (seasonally) on the patio, and give Pondview's knowledgeable staff a chance to impress you.

Family owned and running since 1974 in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Simple space with very friendly and welcoming staff.
