ITINERARIO DECUMANO SUPERIORE [24] - FARMACIA DEGLI INCURABILI The historical Pharmacy of Incurables is located within the homonymous and ancient hospital. It is a meeting point between science and art, and an extraordinary masterpiece of the Neapolitan Baroque-Rococo style. Together with the adjacent church of Santa Maria del Popolo, today it constitutes the important Museum of sanitary arts of Naples.

l luogo più bello dell’incontro tra scienza e arte è certamente la Farmacia storica negli Incurabili, che è anche la parte più mirabile e meglio conservata dell’antico ospedale del Reame. Insuperato capolavoro del barocco-rococò, è al tempo stesso efficiente laboratorio del farmaco ed intrigante luogo di rappresentanza per l’élite scientifica dell’Illuminismo napoletano.
