One of the beaches that are closer to the city. Its next to the airport and it gets quite exiting watching the airplanes land.

an other beautiful and big beach close to Irakleio. you can go with the car or the buss in about 15 minutes !!

Amnissos and Tobrouk are amongst the nearest beaches you can go if you are staying in the centre of Heraklion. Take bus number 7 from the bus stop in front of the Shell fuel station (couple of minutes walk from the Studio). It's about 20min journey to the beach.
