Chef-restaurateur Robin Gill has applied the best of his training at famed restaurants Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons and Noma to his neighbourhood spot without taking it, or himself, too seriously. Vegetables are grown in the rooftop garden for the sharing dish menu. Their truffled Baron Bigod cheese on fig & walnut toast is exceptional. If you like eating and drinking well into the night, look out for their monthly Bloodshot supper clubs on social media. It was started for chefs and industry folks to wind down at the end of a busy week. A very limited number of tickets are available to the public. One for the curious, gluttonous, and debaucherous!

Another AWESOME restaurant. Lots of small plates. It's noisy, fun and the plates are smaller, so you'll need to order a few to share. It's a lovely walk (or short taxi) across Clapham Common. Let the team guide you through the menu and pick whatever takes your fancy. Definitely need to book in advance. If it's summer, sit outside. If it's lunch time AND it's summer, have rose and people watch. A real favourite for me (if you've a big appetite, order LOTS...!)

Absolutely amazing British food, every course with the tasting menu sublime and surprising. One of the best restaurants in London in my humble opinion. Great staff very helpful, the warm bread and bone marrow butter is delicious and knowledgeable wine waiter who paired the wine perfectly.
