You need a quarter for the cart, which is returned when you return the cart. You need to bring your own bags or purchase inexpensive paper or sturdy plastic for 5 or 10 cents. But all of this keeps the cost down about 30% of what you would pay elsewhere. It's a small store, so you can navigate through quickly, and there is not a multiplicity of choices of any particular item, but they have almost everything you need. Cashiers are so fast! Aldi is where we go first, and if they don't have it, then we go to Martin's.
