This little museum is a gem! It's packed with authentic fishing gear, artifacts, pictures, information and history. Even the kids and non-fishers will enjoy it. The curator is fabulous too, she knows everything there is to know about the area. The admission $2, $1 for kids.

This museum is a must see in Margaree. The local fishing history here is on display with lots of stories and angling artifacts. Becky’s family has some history shown here as her great great grandfather was a fishing guide on the river and her great great uncle ran a lodge for all the fisherman. Her great grandmother used to teach school in the building way back when it was an old schoolhouse - When she got engaged her school kids didn’t believe her ring was real diamond - so she etched her name into a window to prove it - it is still there today!
