Great paved trail along the Congaree Creek. This area boasts history from the Stone Age and the Civil War. Shaded walkway that connects with the Three Rivers Greenway, which goes all the way to Columbia, you may see the occasional alligator!

The Timmerman Trail can be accessed from the 12th Street Extension at SCANA Parkway. This is a hidden gem that is well shaded and has curving path with mature trees and wildlife.
