Godavari is about 40 Min. drive (depending on traffic). It is absolutely worth to go if you love to hang out in nature, get excited about different plants, butterflies and the local monasteries.

Albeit a bit crowded on Saturdays, so we recommend you avoid it on that day, the botanical garden is a wonderful place for a short walk and stroll, a picnic, or a chill day out of the city. We recommend going on a weekday when it is less busy.

Nepal is known for its diversity in flora and fauna and in Godawari Botanical Garden you can actually witness the topography.
