It goes without saying, that it is a must to try Greek Souvlaki ("kalamaki" or "pita me gyro") when visiting Athens/Greece. You can also get some typical Greek dishes or other kind of meat like "eksochiko" or an authentic Greek salad. At Gyzi Square, ~3-4 min from the appartment. Tip: unless you feel at top form you'd better not walk the steep Ag. Charalambous Str. straight tp the square but go around through Nordau Str. pedestrian zone and walk the stairs.
