Stradun or Placa is the main street of Dubrovnik. The limestone-paved pedestrian street runs some 300 metres through the Old Town, the historic part of the city surrounded by the walls od Dubrovnik. There are a lot of Unesco protected monuments and small island Lokrum worth to take time to visit. There are local guides to rent if you need more info about history and what happend in the war
