Pretty city park right downtown where you’ll have city views. It’s not fenced in, so keep an eye on your fur baby. This is a great park to come to even if you don’t have your dog along.

How can you not love a beautiful, lush dog park right next to Lady Bird Lake and on the Zilker Park trail? Auditorium Shores offers an off-leash dog park with amazing views of the Austin skyline and famous Stevie Ray Vaughan statue. However, the park is not fenced and close to the street so pet owners should be cautious of their animals whereabouts.

The Town Lake Trail is great for running, walking, or biking, with beautiful views of the Austin skyline from the south shore of Ladybird Lake. There are a number of boat / paddleboard / kayak rental options all along Town Lake.

Along this trail you'll find a great park for dog watching. Also you can rent some kayaks and paddle boards at a few locations along the trail just east of this park.
