Local market held in Pugwash on Saturday Mornings. About a 40 minute drive, but along the sunrise trail, with stunning ocean views. The entire town is worth exploring, but be sure to go on a Saturday where you can also see all the great market vendors (including The Happy Helmstead) Closes after Thanksgiving weekend

The Pugwash Farmers' Market is open Saturdays, May to October from 8:30Am to 1 Pm, the market is composed of farmers, artisans and bakers who gather every Saturday in the market square at the heart of the scenic village of Pugwash, Nova Scotia. More than 20 vendors set up with a wide variety of home grown, hand made and freshly baked products. Don't miss our Wellness Tent info & activities during the summer months! While you're here, visit the historic train station, enjoy the views of Pugwash Harbour, and explore shops and restaurants in the area. A very vibrant market on Saturday morning. Lots of cool stuff from an artesian influence. Local produce begins to appear as the growing season matures. Great laid back atmosphere. Love it.
