Looking to get out on the river for an afternoon kayak? French Broad Outfitters provides it all. Contact them in advance to reserve kayaks or paddle boards and they will set you asail on multiple route options and even provide a shuttle to make your adventure complete. Confirm when you make your reservation that your route ends at the Hominey location for free live music at the end of your adventure on weekends. Enjoy a burger from the onsite food truck and a cold beer at their riverside bar converted from an old shipping container.
