On a steep mountain ridge, high above the sea, lies Lovranska Draga, a quaint village that can be reached from Medveja or Lovran on the coast along interesting hiking trails that lead through wonderful natural scenery. Situated between the blue skies and blue sea, Lovranska Draga offers magnificent views of Mount Učka's highest peak and the entire Kvarner Bay, which stretches out below you. This village, traditionally dedicated to agriculture, is distinguished by its quaint vineyards that receive water from a local stream. The tradition of using exclusively local ingredients in preparing food has resulted in fantastic specialities that can be savoured only here and nowhere else in the world.
