This place is the oldest in Almere. The idea behind the architecture is that it wanted to give an Amsterdam impression. Most locals that started to live here moved from the busy Amsterdam. For this reason, you will see some interesting things in the build of the centre. After Almere-Haven they stopped building things as courtyards and canals. There is a lot of green and water around the centre of Almere-Haven.
