One of our favorite places for outstanding water and wildlife views is Shem Creek. Not to mention the awesome restaurants like Tavern and Table sitting right on the water! Watching a sunset or sunrise from the tip of Shem Creek is absolutely stunning! We love seeing all the shrimp boats docked - It's even more fun when you're there as they are pulling in with fresh shrimp and it leads the dolphins in for viewing! This place is full of wildlife - many birds, fish, crabs, lizards; we've even been blessed with seeing manatees swim through!

Off Island in the town of Mt. Pleasant across the Arthur Ravenel Bridge - The waterfront destination at Shem Creek is a local favorite with unique restaurants and bars. Kick back and take in the gorgeous views of the Charleston Harbor .
