If you want to try GOOD pastry you should go to DIDOVICH, my favorite bakery in Venice. It's located in Campo Santa Marina, not far from San Marco. They also do very tasty "pizzette" that is tiny pizzas made with savory puff pastry. If you are lucky enough to hang around here during Carnival then you MUST stop here and try the "frittelle", typical fried pastry that we only eat during this special time of the year (I love the plain one, but most of all the custard one is exceptional).

Ottima pasticceria dove fare buone colazioni. Excellent pastry shop where to make good breakfasts. Excellente pâtisserie où faire de bons petits déjeuners.
