Great wee spot for a coffee (best in the area by a long shot!) and bite to eat. If the cafe is closed and the weather is good then take some time out to walk down by the water, it's beautiful :D

Just fifteen minutes away. On a hot day 😊the water temperature can be lovely enough to swim in and jump in from the rocks under the bridge. There are grassy areas for picnics beside the river. The Potarch cafe/restaurant is very close and there are also public toilets by the car park across the bridge. (Designed by Thomas Telford) I haven’t eaten at the cafe so unable to comment on food.
