This is the 2nd closest station to us. I would only walk here if you want the L train or JZ train (handy for getting to Bushwick or Williamburg in Brooklyn). Otherwise the Rockaway Avenue station is much closer to us and more convenient

Subway station connects to L, A, C trains from J train. L goes to Bushwick/Williamsburgh/Manhattan. A,C go to Downtown Brooklyn, Manhattan.
