Located in nearby Geyserville, this is one of my favorite wineries. Robert Young Estate Winery is family owned and most known for their cabernets and chardonnays, although they do also offer rose, viognier and merlot. You'll enjoy the drive down country roads flanked by vineyards to get there, only to be rewarded with the most amazing view of Alexander Valley from their tasting room on top of a hill. A definite must do if you are up for exploring outside Guerneville.

Oaky chards aren't my cup of tea, but if you are looking for quintessential CA chards, this is the place to stop.
