The Vasa is the only preserved seventeenth-century ship in the world, and a unique art treasure. More than 95 percent of the ship is original, and it is decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures
Probably the most iconic museum in Stockholm. Impressive with the old warship Wasa in the center of the exhibition. But, don't get stuck with the ship, there is so much more to discover in the museum!
Famous museum on Djurgården. If you go there you can also visit the animal park Skansen and the amusement park Gröna Lund
This is probably number one recommendation of all museum in Stockholm. Its so cool that this ship is 400 years old.
At the Vasa Museum you will find the old ship that was built for the Swedish king Gustav Vasa. It only made it about 2 kilometers/1 mile on water before it sank. 333 years later it was found and was towed to this museum. There is also a restaurant.
