A beautiful 13th century former hall house overlooking the picturesque village green and church. Sit in the lovely garden, or indoors during the winter by the log fire. This place serves good food and has an array of guest beers and gins.

The Red Lion is the quintessential village pub on the green! A Pretty Tudor pub by church and attractive village green, densely beamed with antique-style tables and chairs on flagstones or parquet, log fires, fairly traditional food from sharing boards up using local produce, well kept ales such as Shepherd Neame, decent wines, friendly helpful staff, upstairs restaurant; background and some live music; children and dogs welcome, seats in front and in big garden, open all day

Herne Hill is an interesting little village with superb old Kentish houses and an old church and oast house. The Red Lion is a lovely old pub serving good English food.

An idyllic Kentish village home to this ancient pub. 1364 above the door. Good beer, food except Sunday pm.
