This famous cafe and restaurant is great for breakfast or lunch. Sitting right at the end of the pier, it has great views. Casual breaky in the old pier cafe, a modern place for lunch/dinner/drinks.

Fairy penguins live on the breakwater behind the pier and can often be spotted just after sunset.

See the penguins walk about your feet at dusk. (Don't pay to go on the tourist trap boats, just walk out to the end of the pier.) Trams & train from the city.
