All of Balboa Park is great, but I love the Westside’s big grassy areas and shady tree spots. Park along the road, find a tree, and have yourself a picnic & glass of wine here.

If you have a 4 legged friend with you or you just like watching dogs get crazy, this is always a nice stop when strolling through the park.
