Walnut Canyon National monument, Lowell Observatory, Coconino National Forest, Arizona Snowbowl, Flagstaff Extreme. There are different ways to experience Historic Downtown and Railroad District and nearby attractions.
Fun outdoorsy college town with lots of breweries and a ski area (can take a sightseeing chairlift up in summer & winter.)
The planet Pluto was discovered from here in 1930. Downtown Flagstaff is big enough to offer a variation in vibe, food, drinks and setting, but small enough that visitors, locals and college students intermingle at nearly all times of the day. From coffee shops and music venues to the locally sourced food offered by many restaurants.
Flagstaff has great dining options, a wide variety of good breweries, many hiking trails, fun activities and locations such as; The Lowell Observatory, Norther Arizona University. Close to Snow Bowl for skiing and Humphrey's Peak for hiking, and Aspen leaf peeping!
