Typical Dutch brown restaurant with very friendly staff! The "sate" is the best in town. Try to eat all the pindasaus if you dear... :)

For an authentically Dutch meal and atmosphere, try Restaurant 't Zwaantje. Located in the heart of the charming Nine streets, this cosy living-room like space makes for a cheerful, unpretentious experience.

Good, not expensive, classical Dutch food. Try the Saté (indonesian food, but it has become a Dutch classic) or Mussels.
