If you're gonna do South Dakota, ya gotta stop at Wall Drug. Have a cup of coffee for 5 cents, (free for vets), a donut or two and take a few pictures of the sights they have.

Where coffee is still a nickel and donuts are the bomb. The first and biggest of the tourist centers of South Dakota. A the gates of the bad lands, you can fortify yourself for the trip into the wastes or reward your survival with pie.
