our favorite beach to walk and enjoy on summer and fall days. best to visit at low tide so you can walk to the island just off the coast. search for sea dollars and watch out for hungry seagulls - they tend to steal any unattended food. During peak summer season, the state park parking gets filled fast so beat to arrive 9am when they open or around 2 pm when first crowds start leaving

Great beach for finding sand dollars when tide is going out- Remember sand dollars are " gray" not white- they turn white when they dry out.

Just a beautiful place - dog friendly and sometimes the tide goes out so far that you can walk on the sand bar!

Ocean beach, long shoreline, low tide walk to island. At one end is Fort Popham, restaurant and store.
