This is in one of my favorite neighborhoods of LA — the tiny yet unmistakable Franklin Village. This specialty store is loaded with gastronomical delight. They have a mad selection of gluten-free beer (very good quality) and homemade treats and chocolates, many of them naturally gluten-free. Buy the St. Peter’s gluten-free ale. It’s one of the first I’ve tried, and it was in this location. It’s still one of my favorites.

This is the go-to neighborhood spot for great coffee, breakfast burritos, Hollywood Bowl picnics, a selection of wine and cheese, and general hanging out.
