Bowen Park Complex is located near the downtown surrounded by the peacefulness of Nanaimo's Bowen Park. The complex includes a gymnasium and stage, two kitchens, activity and games rooms, registration office, a preschool, pottery studio, pool room and is the location of the department's administration offices. The complex hosts a variety of programs for all ages including many of the department's senior programs.

Lots of walking trails, tennis courts with lights, volley ball courts, outdoor seasonal swimming pool and disc golf course.
