The Melkweg is a pop venue and cultural center with live music, club nights, photography, film and festivals. It is located in a former sugar refinery and milk factory on the Lijnbaansgracht in Amsterdam, behind the Leidseplein and next to the Stadsschouwburg.

Together with Paradiso one of my favo places to go out. The audience is sometimes a bit younger. There are 2 rooms, often with different music genres in both rooms. Sometimes you can go to both rooms, that's extra fun

Melkweg is one of the most famous venues around and always have concerts and parties. If you like urban music, Encore is a well-known party happening every Saturday night.
